Nightfall Edition Package for GMC and Chevy Trucks
According to the AutoGuide report, General Motors will roll out a new truck package called the Nightfall Edition. They’ve found out that the automaker filed to register the Nightfall Edition trademark with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. It’s not clear which truck will get the new package, but it’s known how the package will change the truck’s exterior and interior.
Reportedly, it will come with “a black exterior, black grille, black five-inch assist steps, 18-inch aluminum wheels, polished exhaust tips, [a] spray-in bedliner, [a] remote start system and automatic climate control.”
Although they won’t disclose which pickup truck will get the Nightfall Edition package, we’ll be able to see the truck in flesh this January at the 2015 NAIAS. It would be reasonable to assume that this could be a GMC pickup truck, because it’s expected that a special edition of a GMC truck has its premiere at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show. Of course, this is just an assumption, but it might be true.
Aside from the GMC pickup, General Motors may decide to apply the Nightfall Edition package to a Chevy truck, too. Of course, it’s impossible to say which one would get the new package, but it will probably be a GMC truck’s counterpart.
