Reportedly, it will be shorter than the sedan version, but still, the 2017 Genesis Coupe will be longer than the current version. As for the appearance, the general design of the new Genesis Coupe will be radically changed. The new version will use a lot of design solutions seen at the HND-9 concept. Therefore, the expectations are that the 2017 Genesis Coupe comes with a front fascia which will have a hexagonal radiator grille and headlights with sharp angles. They won’t neglect the rear end, so we may expect a fresh rear bumper, which will be bolder than before and new taillights. As we already mentioned, the 2017 Hyundai Genesis Coupe will probably get some new engine options. Due to the lack of official news, some speculations arose. Allegedly, the 2017 Genesis Coupe will come with a 5.0-liter V8 engine, borrowed from the sedan version of the Genesis. This mill will probably be able to deliver around 450 horsepower and ¬†approximately 380 lb-ft of twist. It’s expected to be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The other engine option will probably be a 3.8-liter V6, which currently can generate 311 horsepower, but some improvements are possible. As for the drive, the 2017 Hyundai Genesis Coupe will come with standard rear-wheel drive, but there will be the HTRAC AWD system available as an option.

Expected Price Change Of 2017 Genesis Coupe

Although we currently don’t know much about the new Genesis Coupe’s performance and specs, it’s clear that this car will be very powerful and entertaining. Like we said at the beginning, the most important feature of this car will be its price. If the rumors about the base MSRP are true, the 2017 Hyundai Genesis Coupe won’t cost drastically more than the current version. There will be a price increase, but hopefully it won’t be huge.
