Platform and Design

The 2017 Buick LaCrosse will be built on the P2XX platform. Thanks to this underpinning, the new LaCrosse is going to be lighter than before. The P2XX platform is a modified version of the E2XX architecture. The expectations are that the new platform will help the engineers to reduce the sedan’s weight for up to 300 pounds.

2017 Buick LaCrosse Release Date and Price

The 2017 Buick LaCrosse will be officially introduced sometime during 2016 as a 2017 model. Although its world premiere is expected to be at one of the biggest American auto shows, we wouldn’t be surprised if they unveil it in China, since the sedan is going to be distributed on the very lucrative Chinese market, too.

As for the price, some early estimates are that the base model might cost slightly less than $40,000, while the top-of-the-range version might cost more than $50,000.
