2016 Volvo S60 Inscription Luxury Sedan Introduced

Aside from the new S60 Cross Country sedan with crossover genes, Volvo has introduced yet another novelty in its American lineup. At the 2015 NAIAS, they unveiled the 2016 Volvo S60 Inscription.

The latest addition to the brand’s range is a luxury iteration of the S60 sedan. The 2016 Volvo S60 Inscription is, in fact, a long-wheelbase variant of the mid-size sedan. Aside from the slightly increased length, the car’s level of luxury is what’s going to attract the customers.

They managed to stretch the regular S60 by 3.1 inches. Although it may seem strange, the Inscription model has additional 3.4 inches of legroom at the rear seats. Perhaps it isn’t much, but having in mind that the automaker tries to compete with the most prestigious luxury vehicles within the mid-size sedan market, every inch is relevant.

The 2016 S60 Inscription comes with standard 18-inch wheels and some other features which reveal that the car belongs to the higher stratum. The car’s interior has been improved with Linear Walnut trim, accent lighting and other sophisticated details.
