2016 Jaguar XF Comes with Style: Amazing Stunt Debut
Exactly one week before the world premiere at the 2015 New York Auto Show the new 2016 Jaguar XF is going to be shown to the public in the most extraordinary way. As we already know, the people from Jaguar Land Rover have really amusing ideas – breathtaking stunts and entertaining introductions are their thing. The all-new 2016 XF will be introduced in an equally amazing manner.
Thanks to the cooperation with Jim Dowdall, a British stunt expert who worked on numerous Bond, Bourne and Indiana Jones movies, the automaker managed to prepare something really interesting. According to the official announcement, the 2016 Jaguar XF will come to the public eye on two 34 mm (1.34”) wires set high above the water. Of course, this event will be streamed worldwide on jaguar.com/newxf (March 24, 7 PM GMT).
Naturally, they won’t reveal technical details ahead of the 2015 New York Auto Show. The balancing act will just be the automaker’s way to introduce the all-new model to the public, but the real debut will be in New York on April 1st.
We have to be patient until the official reveal of all the sedan’s aspects, but we already know that the 2016 Jaguar XF is really all-new. The new generation of the XF moniker is coming with new aluminum architecture that’s been made with lots of aluminum, but that’s not all. The 2016 Jaguar XF has virtually every detail redesigned and new.
Regarding the design, Ian Callum, Jaguar Director of Design said:
“I believe the all-new XF will be the best looking car in its class. Elegant, handsome and with proportions that imbue a great sense of integrity – the all-new XF will be true to the strong tradition of sporting Jaguar saloons while being completely of its time.”
According to the automaker’s statement, the 2016 Jaguar XF will come with “exceptional levels of technology, refinement, luxury and comfort”. They also said that the new luxury sedan will be able to reach more than 70 mpg. As we said, we have to wait for the global debut scheduled for April 1st, but these early details are truly promising.
The 2016 Jaguar XF will be launched this fall.
