2016 Chevrolet Cruze First Look (Teaser Photo)
The 2016 Chevrolet Cruze borrowed some of the fresh style from some already introduced Chevy models, but it also kept its recognizable appearance. This would be an answer if someone asked us to describe the 2016 Chevy Cruze exterior in a single sentence.
Of course, since GM hasn’t revealed the new Cruze exterior design in its entirety, we can’t judge yet, but we know how the front fascia is going to look. And looking at the front fascia design, we can assume that the rest of the body won’t fall far from the already established design.
The automaker said in the press release:
“The 2016 Cruze will build on the current model’s success, aiming to elevate the segment with more of the features increasingly important for today’s compact car buyers. It will be larger yet lighter than the current model, with new technologies, new powertrains and additional available safety features that will bring a higher level of sophistication to the compact car segment.”
Improvements and Changes
So, they’re trying to offer a compact sedan that’s better in every way. But the question is: how much all the changes are going to influence the price? Having in mind that they’re intending to make the next-gen Chevy Cruze a worthy successor of the previous model that’s been sold in more than 3.5 million units worldwide, their pricing policy is expected to be modest.
The changes are numerous. From the redesigned exterior to the improved safety and performance, the 2016 Cruze is all new. The 2016 Cruze is going to be one of the first Chevrolet models to come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Its siblings are also fresh and new – Volt, Spark, Camaro and Malibu brought the new spirit to the Chevrolet family this year.
2016 Chevrolet Cruze Release Date and Price
Naturally, the automaker won’t reveal the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze price at this point, since the first models will hit the dealerships’ showrooms early next year.
