This beautifully sculpted sedan, which is a masterpiece of automotive design, should tackle the most prominent competitors within its market segment. Than being said, its obvious that they aim to dethrone German cars. How will they do it? Well, the plan seems to be great. Make a car’s exterior beautiful, its interior comfortable and its engine remarkable. The 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia with Ferrari engine should have all of that. Imagine driving a top-notch sedan with sleek appearance and a Ferrari engine under the hood. According to various sources, the 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia will have a V-6 Ferrari engine which is developed for another Fiat’s brand, Maserati. However, some other reports claim that there won’t be any Ferrari engine. That may be true for Europe. The U.S.-spec Alfa Romeo Giulia will be distributed using the network of Chrysler’s dealers.

There are numerous speculations regarding the 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia engine lineup. The aforementioned Ferrari V-6 engine may be installed in the top trim version. As for the other engine options, the rumors say that the U.S.-spec Giulia will have a Chrysler’s V-6 Pentastar engine. The European counterpart will probably have Fiat MultiAir engines. The expected engines in the Euro-spec Giulia are a turbocharged 1.4-liter engine installed in the Giulietta and a turbocharged 1.75-liter unit installed in the 4C. Of course, there may be some of the diesel engines from Fiat’s JTDm palette.

The 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia premiere will probably take place at the Geneva Auto Show next year and it should be released by the end of 2015 as a 2016 model. The Giulia wagon, which will derive from the 2016 Giulia, is expected to be unveiled one year later.
