2015 Toyota Camry Redesign — The Mystery Revealed
Proud of the sales figures its predecessors made, the 2015 Toyota Camry comes redesigned with a plan to persist as the best selling sedan in the U.S. The last redesign this sedan had was in 2012, so the public expected the 2015 model to come with just a modest refreshment. Truth be told, they probably won’t make the 2015 Toyota Camry changes if there weren’t so much activity among its competitors. A lot of other manufacturers decided to improve the size of their share of the mid-size sedan market. That’s why there are Mazda 6, VW Passat, Nissan Altima and Honda Accord completely redesigned in the project of overtaking the leading market position. Toyota’s reply is loud and clear — the 2015 Toyota Camry redesigned.
2015 TOYOTA CAMRY CHANGES — REDESIGNED APPEARANCE AND INTERIOR
It’s not known yet how radical changes will be. However, in spite of the vague information the people in Toyota supply to the automotive public, it’s known that the headlights will be powered by the new LED technology. The 2015 Camry appearance will be improved by a facelift. Its headlights and fog lights will be reshaped, it will get a redesigned grille and the overall front look will be completely new. The size of the 2015 Toyota Camry will changed, since it will get a new body style, but we shouldn’t expect a dramatic change. The manufacturer provided more passengers’ space, so the ride will be comfortable even in the back seats. Since its interior was pretty satisfying due to its functionality, they didn’t need to make improvements in that field. Nevertheless, the 2015 Camry interior will get a major update. They decided to use high-quality materials for upholstery and to incorporate some wood elements, so the interior will look more luxurious than before. The dashboard will hold a 6.1″ touchscreen with a new good-looking control panel. The 2015 Toyota Camry will have a navigation, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, Pandora Internet Radio etc.
ENGINE OPTIONS OF THE 2015 TOYOTA CAMRY — VALVEMATIC AND V-6
The rumors say that the new 2015 Toyota Camry will have two engine options. Nobody can guarantee if the four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged Valvematic will replace the old V-6, or the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The most probable solution is that there will be an already mentioned 2.0-liter Valvematic, which will reduce Camry’s fuel consumption up to 10% and an old direct-injected 3.5-liter V-6 which can deliver up to 268 horsepower and 336 lb-ft of torque. This V-6 had fuel economy result of 31 mpg. It doesn’t mean the same will be with this model, since this is a result of the previous generation EPA rating. The V-6 in the 2015 Toyota Camry will probably be a little bit better in terms of the fuel economy.
