2015 Subaru Outback — One Would Say…
The 2015 Subaru Outback, one of the finest specimens of Subaru’s engineering, comes this year just gently restyled. The refreshments of the 2015 Outback appearance changes will be only in details, but they should make a great impact on its overall feel. One would say that certain changes will be enough to make this wagon crossover hit the market without the fear of its competitors. The primary intention behind the 2015 Subaru Outback appearance is hidden in the fact that Subaru won’t offer its Legacy in wagon version in the U.S. The new Outback should be a Legacy’s sibling made for needs which just an ordinary sedan can’t meet.
2015 SUBARU OUTBACK CHANGES AND FEATURES
The improved aerodynamics will affect not only fuel economy, but the look. That way the 2015 Subaru Outback won’t look like they did nothing at all. Besides the slightly more attractive looking body shape, the 2015 Outback look will be influenced by design details. They decided to deliver this wagon crossover with bigger alloy wheels. That way, the new Outback looks more like a crossover and less like a wagon. The manufacturer used its already seen method to relocate the A-pillar, like they did while designing the 2014 Subaru Forester. The result of this automotive surgery is gaining passengers’ space. When it comes to the interior, this will be the most noticeable change. Other improvements may pass undetected, since the new 2015 Outback inside will be based on its predecessor’s interior design. However, the 2015 Subaru Outback will have some impressive features. Nothing we haven’t seen yet, but some advanced features make a whole vehicle better. First of all, there will be a very useful anti-lock brake system which distributes brake force. Besides that, this wagon crossover will have a VDC system (Vehicle Dynamics Control) and all-wheel drive. Also, there will be Bluetooth phone connectivity, keyless entry and a lot more. The new Subaru Eyesight system will be used for the first time in one member of the Outback family.
ENGINES INSTALLED IN THE 2015 SUBARU OUTBACK — H-4 & H-8
The 2015 Subaru Outback engine options are not known for sure yet, but the information which circulates around the automotive public is that one of the engines will be turbocharged 2.0-liter H-4, which can deliver up to 170 horsepower. This engine is already installed in the 2014 Forester. The rumors claim that this engine may replace the current 2.5-liter H-4 engine. However, this 2.5-liter engine probably won’t be replaced. Another engine which can be used in the new Outback is is a 3.6-liter H-6, a powerful engine which produces 256 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque using its six cylinders.
