2015 Mini Countryman Changes And Price
The 2015 Mini Countryman comes with a recognizable Mini style, but still, it has some novelties which will certainly determine its faith on the market. With some design changes, both outside and inside, the 2015 Countryman is improved, but since it comes with numerous additional features offered as an option, this hatchback has its own unique style. Although the previous Countryman models were pretty well received at the market, the 2015 model should have even better sales. Since all the changes are very thought-out, the 2015 Mini Countryman is already considered as a well-built crossover with unique exterior. This model’s facelift is just a mild improvement of what was already a good small SUV. That might be a reason why they haven’t changed the engine options. The same old powertrains are available at the 2015 Countryman. However, the cosmetic exterior changes as well as the latest generation Mini Connected infotainment system could be enough to motivate all of the potential buyers to go for this model.
2015 Mini Countryman Exterior Changes
The revised exterior of the 2015 Countryman is very handsome. It kept its traditional flair and it got some new good-looking features. The main and the most noticeable feature which contributed to the new Contryman’s appearance is the new grille on the Cooper and Cooper S models. It’s important to notice that the 2015 Mini Cooper S Countryman comes with more chrome details. There will be some additional optional exterior features, which will make this crossover significantly different. There are 17-inch new alloys and some new body colors. Also, the front fascia of the 2015 Mini Countryman could be improved by a pair of LED fog lights and LED daytime running lights. We should mention the Piano Black package, which underline this crossover’s appearance by pronouncing some accents. All the all-wheel drive ALL4 models will have underbody guards, but not the 2015 John Cooper Works Countryman. The underbody guards are also available as an option for front-wheel drive models.
Slight Interior Improvements
The interior of this crossover will be equipped by the latest systems and gadgets, but the overall design will be retained. There are some style upgrades, such as the chrome air vents and slightly restyled dials on the dashboard, since their color has been changed to Anthracite. The latest infotainment and its superb connectivity are the most important features of this model’s interior update. With the Mini Connected infotainment, the comfort and entertainment will be significantly improved. This infotainment system provides great smartphone connectivity and some great apps. Thanks to the folding seats, the cargo space could be increased to 42.2 cubic feet. As for the safety, the 2015 Mini Countryman will have tire pressure monitor, parking assistant, 4-wheel ABS, park distance control, stability and traction control, post-collision safety system etc.
2015 Mini Countryman Engine Options — No Surprises

The sporty version of this crossover/station wagon, the 2015 Mini Cooper S Countryman, also has a 1.6-liter inline-four, but thanks to the turbocharger, its power output is significantly higher: 181 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. The 2015 John Cooper Works Countryman has a turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four which is able to generate 208 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. There are two transmissions available — a standard six-speed manual and an optional six-speed automatic gearbox. As for the drive, the 2015 JCW Countryman has the ALL4 all-wheel drive as standard, while the Cooper S has standard rear-wheel drive, but with the ALL4 system available.
