2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class Refreshed

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class is refreshed. It comes not only with redesigned front fascia and fresh exterior appearance in general, but it has some other essential novelties, which will certainly contribute to the superiority of this brilliant car. Thanks to the new nine-speed transmission and MULTIBEAM LED headlights (not available in the U.S.), the 2015 CLS-Class is improved beyond expectations. This four-door coupe was already an exceptionally popular, but with those changes, it should be one of the most beloved cars within its market segment. The list of technology updates, which are necessary in the modern world, will start with improved COMAND infotainment system and revised central stack with some additional buttons. The interior of the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class is expected to be redesigned. The scale of the redesign isn’t known, but we know for sure that the steering wheel will be new.

2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class Comes With Redesigned Exterior

Thanks to the redesigned front fascia, the 2015 CLS-Class looks more powerful. The design language used for the front fascia is borrowed from the CLA-Class. That’s why the new CLS got a grille which looks like this. The restyled front bumper and redesigned headlights also contribute to the overall fresh and appealing look of the front fascia. The current version of this four-door luxury coupe belongs to a small group of cars which could wait for the refresh, since it doesn’t look outdated. The manufacturer, however, decided not to wait for this to happen, so they refreshed the appearance of the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class right on time. If they keep the pace they set with this update, their models could easily be even more popular very soon. The rear end isn’t so radically changed. It kept its already well-known appearance, but the rear bumper and taillights are slightly altered to follow the refresh of the front fascia. According to some reports, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class will come with new alloy wheels and some additional body colors.
2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class MULTIBEAM LED

MULTIBEAM LED Headlights With Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus

The 2015 CLS-Class has the MULTIBEAM LED headlights for the first time. This technology provides not just better illumination, but thanks to its intelligent features, it helps the driver. It consists of 24 LEDs which are able to automatically adjust. That way, the driver can keep high beams all the time, since the Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus system will recognize an oncoming car thanks to the camera located behind the windscreen. That’s not just a useful feature, which disburdens the driver. It essentially helps the drive to be more pleasant and radically safer, since the LEDs adjust just to avoid dazzling, but the rest of the range will illuminate the road keeping the high-beam performance. The range is, reportedly, increased by 20 percent, to 530 yards.

2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class Interior — COMAND Infotainment & 9G Tronic Transmission

Unfortunately, the U.S.-spec 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class won’t have this brilliant feature, because of the regulations, but all of the other features will be available. The latest COMAND infotainment system and the other, already mentioned, interior features contribute to the overall updated feel of this car. The 9G Tronic nine-speed transmission will be connected to the engine which is carried over. This means that a 4.7-liter V-8 engine won’t be changed, but it will have better EPA fuel economy thanks to the new gearbox. There is no reliable information about improvement of the fuel efficiency, but you can bet that the 2015 CLS-Class will be more efficient compared with its predecessor.

2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class Release Date

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class will be released this fall in the U.S. As for the price, we don’t know how much this four-door coupe will cost, but since the release date is pretty close, we hope that we’ll know the base price soon.
