2015 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition Features — Dream In Black
The 2015 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition is a sporty version of the regular Sierra which will be released by the end of the year. Its monochromatic, very attractive appearance will certainly impress the public. The sport truck, based on the 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 double-cab truck, will have numerous features which will make it stand out from the conventional and ordinary design. The standard 2015 Sierra Elevation Edition is equipped with great technology and powered by a EcoTec3 V6 engine. The full-size truck will be available with a double cab only which is understandable knowing that the 2015 Sierra 1500 double-cab pickup truck was used as the base for this model. The price of the 2015 Elevation Edition isn’t known at the moment. The manufacturer said that pricing will be announced later, but having in mind that the release date of the truck is very near, we expect the pricing to be public very soon.
2015 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition Appearance
So, what’s so special about the 2015 Sierra Elevation? Well, at first glance, everyone can see that there’s something unusual going on. The exterior of the sport truck oozes power and strength, since it’s designed using a modest color palette and a cool idea of creating something unusual and bold. The 2015 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition has 20-inch alloy wheels painted in black, color-keyed handles, side molding and mirror caps. The most obvious distinction from the regular Sierra 1500 can be spotted at the front fascia where the grille and the front bumper got a special treatment. The rear bumper is also altered.
Technology And Connectivity
The technology is a very important aspect of the 2015 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition. The sport truck is very well equipped, so it got the OnStar 4G LTE system which provides a Wi-Fi hotspot which can connect with up to seven mobile devices. There’s also Bluetooth phone connectivity, but aside from the connectivity, the other Elevation’s features are also great. The truck is equipped with a remote keyless entry system, LED lights for the cargo box and power mirrors. There’s also a 110-volt power outlet. As for the audio, the 2015 Sierra Elevation Edition has a 4.2-inch IntelliLink system.
2015 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition Engine Options: EcoTec3 V6 & V8 Engines, EPA Fuel Economy & Drive
The truck has a 4.3-liter EcoTec3 V6 engine which generates 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of twist. This mill is a very good choice, since it returns 24 mpg/highway paired with 2WD. Paired with a 4×4 drive, the powerplant has slightly worse EPA fuel economy ratings, but still very impressive, since it returns 22 mpg/highway. In the city the 2WD version can reach 18 mpg and the 4×4 model returns 17 mpg. If a more powerful engine is your thing, the 2015 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition has an optional 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 mill which delivers 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The power of the engines will be transmitted via a six-speed automatic. As for the drive, there will be both two- and four-wheel drive available.
Release And Pricing
The 2015 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition will hit the dealerships’ showrooms soon, so the first specimens are going to be seen on the roads by the end of the year. As we already mentioned, the pricing isn’t currently available, but there’s no doubt that the manufacturer will make the prices public very soon.
