2015 Cadillac ELR Hybrid Specs — Green Luxury

Since the 2015 Cadillac ELR is a car which was released last year, there probably won’t be any significant changes for the 2015 model year. We don’t know if there won’t be any changes at all, but nothing radical will change. The 2015 ELR is something we don’t see often. This compact plug-in hybrid coupe, which belongs to the top stratum of the luxury hybrids, expresses all the extravagance and beauty of a new Cadillac while taking care of the environment. This car’s hybrid powertrain is just what’s expected of a Cadillac vehicle. Having in mind that the 2015 Cadillac ELR is a compact coupe, its powertrain delivers more than enough power. The ELR is powered by the same hybrid system which is installed in the Chevrolet Volt. It’s really great, but it’s hard to neglect the price discrepancy. The price of the 2015 Cadillac ELR is significantly higher and that’s fine having in mind that this car is a luxury vehicle which comes with stunning appearance and very luxurious equipment, but is it enough to justify a dramatic price difference?

Features And Advantages Of 2015 ELR

The 2015 Cadillac ELR might be a car with the same powertrain and pretty similar specs as the 2016 Chevy Volt, but this luxury couldn’t be compared with the Volt. This well-built coupe has better handling, superb suspension and after all, a lot of additional features. Its beautifully designed interior is equipped with leather upholstery, wood and carbon fiber and a lot of the high-end gadgets.

2015 Cadillac ELR Price

The base price of the 2015 Cadillac ELR plug-in hybrid is around $75,000. This car comes with stunning exterior and interior design as well as the high luxury level, but this will cost you almost double the price of the Chevy Volt, whose entry version costs around $40,000. Although the powertrain is the same and those two could be compared, that’s the only feature which is suitable for comparison.
