2014 Hyundai Veloster Specs and Release

The 2014 Hyundai Veloster had it’s premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The people who patiently waited for it now calculate whether their patience paid off. Well, first of all, the new 2014 Hyundai Veloster improved it’s basic equipment. In every model there will be installed a rear-view camera and daytime headlights. The 2014 Veloster Turbo R version of this car will have something called the Active Sound Design system. Actually, the Active Sound Design system is a system which improves the engine sound inside the passenger space. The 2014 Hyundai Veloster is expected to engage in numerous situations with sharp corners and turns. The manufacturer installed sensors which monitor wheel speed which works together with electronic stability control to determine the optimal braking force needed for tackling sharp corners and to provide the perfect handling. This system is named Torque Vectoring Control System.

The 2014 Hyundai Veloster will have the Veloster Turbo R edition. Besides the design, which is notable in every aspect of this car, but especially when it comes to the body design and appearance, the 2014 Veloster Turbo R will have something more to offer. It will be powered by a direct-injected turbocharged 1.6-liter engine. Also, it’s chassis, which demanded a special care, had some tuning improvements and there is B&B Racing sport lever. The appearance will be aggressive and contemporary. It looks just the way modern car with sport manners have to look.

Hyundai keeps it’s R label for the most representative cars. Until now, Genesis Coupe 2.0T R-Spec, Genesis Coupe 3.0T R-Spec and Genesis Coupe 5.0T R-Spec had the R label, but now the Veloster will have this exclusive incarnation, too. The production will start now in December, so the first 2014 Hyundai Veloster Turbo R models will be available in the beginning of the February 2014.
